Indie Fixx

I just opened the morning e-mail to find that Quiet Hours has been featured at one of my favorite indie shopping sites – Indie Fixx. What is Indie Fixx? I will let founder Jen Wallace explain because her words sum it up better than anything else:

“Indie Fixx is a celebration of the creativity, tenacity, and general spunky goodness that is the indie design movement. The indie design movement is made up of artists, crafters and designers who make a literal smorgasbord of delectable indie products. Once you shop indie, you’ll never go back.”

Jen has done a lion’s share of getting the word out about new talents, and we are thrilled to see that she is a fan of some of our favorite artisans – Nobellas (maker of our ever-popular little felt dragon), Jess Nicole, Holzkram (maker of good wood), and Papered Together. You can read the feature here. Thank you, Jen!

If you’d like your own excuse to shop indie check out Indie Fixx’s Spring Shopping Guide which will run from March 15 – May 15. You’ll find everything from home decor to gifts for mom & tots, to an indie melange of “a little bit of this and a little bit of that”.
